EU-US Privacy ShieldBENNINGTON, VT, September 20th, 2016 — Global-Z International Inc., a leader in global data quality, today announced their plans to self-certify with the new Privacy Shield program.

The European Commission (EC) adopted EU-U.S. Privacy Shield last July 2016. The new Privacy Shield framework protects the fundamental rights of anyone in the EU whose personal data is transferred to the United States, as well as bringing legal clarity for businesses relying on transatlantic data transfers.

“Our European data quality services are central to giving our clients the best solutions possible, said Dimitri Garder, Global-Z Founder and CEO. “We feel the new Privacy Shield certification is an important component to assuring data security and privacy.”
