  • We do not collect Personal Data unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide it to us.
  • The privacy of your Personal Data is of the upmost importance. We will never betray your trust.
  • Your Personal Data is yours. We will never sell your Personal Data.  We will not use it for any purpose other than what you have approved.
  • Your Personal Data is Protected. We take many precautions to secure your Personal Data.

We get it.  As data quality people, Global-Z International (“Global-Z”, “our”, and “we”) treats all Personal Data with respect and we are committed to protecting your privacy.  What does that mean for users of the websites and marketing campaigns?

This Privacy Policy governs our data collection, processing, and usage practices. It also describes your choices regarding use, access, and correction of your Personal Data.  By using the websites or interacting with our marketing campaigns, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree with these data practices, then please do not use the websites or interact with the marketing campaigns.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.  It is important for you to check this page for any changes.  We will not send notices when the Privacy Policy is modified.

Global-Z is committed to complying with the privacy provisions of The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is making a good faith effort to implement all aspects of the Regulation in its website and marketing campaigns. This Notice sets out how we will treat your Personal Data when we act as the controller of that data and when its processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your rights:

  • You are entitled to have any inadequate, incomplete or incorrect Personal Data corrected (that is, rectified).
  • You also have the right to request access to your Personal Data (including receiving a copy thereof) as well as additional information about the processing.
  • If we ever process your personal data on the lawful ground of your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Further, you are entitled to have your Personal Data erased, under certain circumstances.

As from May 25, 2018, you also have the following additional rights:

  • Data portability – if ever we rely (as the lawful ground for processing) upon your consent, or the fact that the processing is necessary to perform a contract to which you are party (such as your employment contract), and the Personal Data is processed by automatic means, you have the right to receive all such Personal Data which you have provided us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and also to require that it be transmitted to another controller where this is technically feasible.
    • Right to erasure – you are entitled to have your Personal Data erased under specific circumstances, such as where you have withdrawn your consent, where you object to processing based on legitimate interests and we have no overriding legitimate grounds (see below) or where Personal Data is unlawfully processed, provided that applicable law does not provide otherwise.
  • Right to restriction of processing – you have the right to restrict the processing of your Personal Data (that is, allow only its storage) where:
  • you contest the accuracy of the Personal Data, until we have taken sufficient steps to correct or verify its accuracy;
  • where the processing is unlawful but you do not want us to erase the Personal Data;
  • where we no longer need your Personal Data for the purposes of the processing, but you require such Personal Data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or
  • where you have objected to processing justified on legitimate interest lawful grounds (see below), pending verification as to whether we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing.

Where your personal data is subject to restriction we will only process it with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

  • Right to object to processing (including profiling) based on legitimate interest grounds – where we rely upon legitimate interests to process Personal Data, you have the right to object to that processing. If you object, we must stop that processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or we need to process the Personal Data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or applicable law requires otherwise.
  • Right to object to direct marketing (including profiling) – you have the right to object to our use of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable law.

You may contact us if you wish to exercise any of your rights in respect of your Personal Data processed in this website or the platform.

This refers to any information that you voluntarily submit to us and that identifies you personally, including contact information, such as your name, e-mail address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself or your business. Personal Data can also include information about any transactions, both free and paid, that you enter into on our websites, and information about you when you interact with our marketing campaigns on the Internet at services such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google.

This refers to information about your computer and your visits to this website such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed.

Our websites and marketing campaigns are not intended for or targeted at children under 16, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect information about children under 16. If you believe that we have collected information about a child under 16, please contact us at privacy-(at)-globalz-(dot)-com, so that we may delete the information.

We use the information we collect only in compliance with this Privacy Policy.

We will never sell or knowingly share your Personal Data to any third party.

We may use the Personal Data and Navigational Information to:

  • Operate and improve our websites and marketing campaigns,
  • Improve your browsing experience by personalizing the website and marketing campaigns,
  • Send marketing information to you that we think may be of interest to you.

We post testimonials and comments on our websites and in our marketing campaigns which may include Personal Data.  We obtain specific consent prior to use.

We employ other companies and people to provide services to us.  For example, Personal Data may be stored on services such as HubSpot and Salesforce.  We may also use services to provide marketing assistance, such as in the hosting of our website, sending of e-mail messages, and analyzing data.  In all cases where we share your information with such agents, we seek agents that will adhere to or exceed our privacy and customer data handling policies.

We use social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets.  These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these features.  Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy and other policies of the companies providing them.

We provide links to other websites. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of these other websites. Our provision of such links does not constitute our endorsement of these other websites, their content, their owners, or their practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these other websites, which are subject to any privacy and other policies they may have.

We reserve the right to use or disclose your Personal Data if required by law or if we reasonably believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with a law, court order, or legal process anywhere in the world.

Our website only uses “cookie” technology as a tracking tool. Cookies identify your browser, rather than you and cannot be used by themselves to disclose your Personal Data. Cookies enable us to track the number of page visits from the same computer or browser to be aggregated for statistical purposes.  Cookies do not corrupt or damage your computer, programs, or computer files.

The purpose for which we use cookies is set forth in a banner appearing the first time you land on our website. By continuing to browse on the website, you consent to their use.  Please click for more details on our Cookie Policy.  The page also tells you how you may manage cookies on the most popular web browsers.

We and our service providers may use pixel tags (also known as “clear gifs”, “web beacons”, “web bugs”, etc.), tracking links and/or similar technology.  Pixel tags are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users.  In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages or in emails and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.

The purpose for which we use pixel tags are as follows:

  • Track customer response to advertisements and website content so that we may determine what content is effective,
  • We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients.  This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. We tie the information gathered by clear gifs in emails to our customers’ Personal Data,
  • Better target interactive advertising, enhance customer support and site usability,  and provide offers and promotions that we believe would be of interest to you. Your Personal Data will not be collected apart from what you voluntarily provide us.

We retain Personal Data that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about our products and services, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, and then we securely delete the information.  We will delete this information earlier if you request that we do so.

We provide you the ability to unsubscribe from all marketing communications. Every time you receive an e-mail, you will be provided with the choice to opt-out of future e-mails by following the instructions provided in the e-mail.

Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your Personal Data.  If you provide us with Personal Data, you have the following rights:

  • To review the user information that you have supplied to us,
  • To request that we correct any errors, outdated information, or omissions in user information that you have supplied to us,
  • To request that your user information not be used to contact you,
  • To request that your user information be removed from any solicitation list that we use,
  • To request that your user information be deleted from our records.

To exercise any of these rights, please send an email to privacy-(at)-globalz-(dot)-com. We will respond to your request to change, correct, or delete your information within a reasonable timeframe and notify you of the action we have taken.
